THE LAST 20??
Wow… I’m going to miss it quite a lot since it’s always what I eagerly look forward to every Monday and Thursday! Yet I’m also looking forward to seeing how you’re going to be ending your wonderful story…
I’ve no idea how it all will wrap in up in just 20 pages, but I think I’ll trust the author on this one. This story has been really great all the way through, so the ending should be good too.
Honestly, it’s sad to hear that Take Off is ending. I’m in full agreeance with Dave P. This world is too intricately woven to just stop dead somewhere. I felt that there was something everything was building up to, but…nope. We never left Cass’ first WEEK at Inbetween and now it’s done. Shame. It had so much potential.
Feels odd to think that there will be an end within the next twenty pages. I guess overcoming the death of Goliath is the entirety of the story to be resolved.
Even so, I thought for sure there would be a good bit of story for Alex gaining acceptance with the other racers, and overcoming his own demons. Then following that some more story with Cass & Alex doing the whole romantic thing, once they could focus on something aside from “grr race competion” and “I’m super wary of everyone and you think you’re fated to misery.”
Maybe with a changing of the guard finale, since we have no idea what the norm is for the life of partnered racers; unless they all die before they can retire and Goliath is the norm.

You’ve gone through a lot of effort to create a world with depth, where there’s obviously a lot more stories to tell. Seems a waste to close it down.

Has anyone noticed that the Head’s shadows are something different than what they are? Hmm…ominous
